Second-division clubs adopt shared scouting analytics
A jointly funded data platform gives smaller clubs access to match analysis that had been priced out of reach.

A group of second-division clubs has jointly funded a shared match-analytics platform, splitting a cost that had previously priced most of them out of the kind of scouting data top-flight clubs use routinely.
The platform pools match footage and player tracking data across the participating clubs, with each retaining exclusive use of analysis specific to their own upcoming fixtures.
Early adopters say the main benefit so far has been in opposition scouting rather than recruitment, where the smaller sample size of second-division fixtures still limits how much the data can say about a prospective signing.
